You may have noticed that we rarely have events scheduled for Mondays...that's because we make the events list on a Monday, and it would be cutting things a little close to try to book an event for 7 PM if we get a sign-up at 4:15 PM. We're only human! I suppose we could add a note for the upcoming Monday events with the weekly list, or simply send out an email or post to this blog sometime during the previous week, but THAT'S NOT HOW WE DO THINGS. To paraphrase Homer Simpson, there is a right way, a wrong way, and our way - and our way involves a little less work on our end.
But really, how often are there big, unclaimed events on a Monday? Are we really losing sleep because we have yet to cover "Free Mohawk Monday" at Mohawk Place? No offense to Free Mohawk Monday, I am sure it is a quality event, but...you get the picture.
Anyhow, this coming Monday, there is actually a reasonably interesting event you may like to cover, either journalistically or photographically...if so, let me know. Looks like there is free pastry involved, too, which is always nice.
