The Rocket Summer Club Infinity -- Doors open at 6 p.m.
22-year-old Bryce Avary is the man behind The Rocket Summer, a piano and guitar-driven rock n roll project that slams home a message of belonging. As a talented multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer, Bryce has proved himself as the epitome of the hard-working musician.
Thursday:
Party in the Plaza Before the 1st Sabres playoff game – Outside HSBC Arena – 5 p.m.
The pre-game festivities get underway two hours before the start of each game outside HSBC Arena, in the Plaza area located near Perry and Illinois St. Fans can enjoy live music, along with food and drink available for purchase throughout the night. But the party doesn’t stop when the game ends! There will be drinks available for purchase after the game, along with music and coverage of the Lexus Shootout post-game show on the big screen.
Cowboy Junkies Asbury Hall at Babeville – Doors open at 7 p.m.

Doors open at 8 a.m. -Competition begins at 9 a.m.
This event features school, recreations, all star, studio, and collegiate cheerleaders & dancers. COA provides a healthy competitive environment for cheerleaders & dance students of all ages & specializes in providing creative & fun com petitions for aspiring cheerleaders & dancers.
Buffalo Greyhound Fair & Expo Hamburg Fairgrounds 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Bring your family, friends, greyhounds and other leashed pets to the annual Greyhound Fair and Expo. Come and enjoy the informational tables, non-profit organizations, and check out all the various items that vendors have for sale. Pennies for Paws-donate your spare change and help our special needs greyhounds! Buffalo Wings Spring Flyball Dog Racing Tournament Hamburg Fairgrounds
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Buffalo Wings have moved their annual Spring Flyball Tournament to the Fairgrounds in Hamburg. Flyball is the fastest growing organized dog sport in North America & is sanctioned by the North American Flyball Association (NAFA). Flyball is a sport where two teams of dogs compete in a structured relay race. Tournaments allow large numbers of teams to compete for titles. While the sport is exciting and fast paced, it is extremely safe and beneficial for the dogs involved. Flyball not only gives your dog a job, but helps to foster a strong bond between dogs and their handlers which helps build discipline and trust. Come see these amazing Canine Athletes! Rockin' the Commons 2010 SUNY Fredonia - Barker Commons, Temple and Main St., Fredonia 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Rockin' the Commons is an annual team cure sanctioned benefit for Roswell Park Cancer Institute organized by Fredonia Radio Systems. This year, the event will be held in honor of Nick Spawn, a SUNY Fredonia student who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) in December 2008. All of the proceeds from the event will go to Roswell Park to benefit research and patient care of those diagnosed with ALL. There will be live entertainment, a Children's Fest, Chinese Auction, and Chiavetta's Chicken BBQ.
