He’s been called a "doggie psychic," a "dog behaviorist," even a "dog whisperer," but if you ask him he would say that he is just a guy with a unique ability to understand dogs and to teach the people who own them how to improve the human-to-dog relationship. At 29 years old, he's already trained over 2,400 dogs.
Not surprising since he's been training people's dogs since he was ten years old. "Kyle is a true American original," says Goodman, the Woodstock, New York resident who wrote, edited, produced and directed the film along with his wife and producing partner Hortencia Goodman, “whether it’s working with dogs or his champion racing pigeons.” Kyle grew up in Glenford, New York and even today, in his daily travels to teach his students, he rarely leaves Ulster County. Engaged Irish Classical Theatre – 2:00 p.m.
The Irish Classical Theatre Company will present the enchanting Victorian comedy Engaged by W.S. Gilbert of Gilbert and Sullivan fame. Engaged, directed by ICTC’s ARTIE Award winning Producing Director Fortunato Pezzimenti, will continue through Sunday, May 23rd. Scandalous in its day, Engaged remains the most successful non-musical comedy of English dramatist, librettist, poet and illustrator W.S. Gilbert. The dialogue is pure Gilbert, charming, lyrical and above all, witty. In the “topsy-turvy” satiric style perfected early in Gilbert’s career, a ridiculous premise is followed through to its logical and rib-tickling conclusion. In Engaged, a hilarious satire on marriage and money, a suitor pledges undying devotion to every girl in sight and Scottish villagers make a living derailing trains and charging the waylaid passengers for hospitality and accommodations. In this zany and farcical world, will romance or monetary gain prevail?
