A message from Deanna, or Why We're Late

Due to a long holiday weekend and lots of work in the Buffalo.com office preparing to launch our new social networking site, MyBuffalo…we will be sending out an abbreviated events list for this weekend tomorrow.

That being said, we would like to send a photographer and writer to the first Thursday at the Square concert of the season featuring Gomez. The show begins at 5 pm at Lafayette Square, downtown.

Please let me know if you’re interested in taking pictures or writing an article about that show, otherwise check your email tomorrow for this week’s events list, and as always you are welcome to submit your suggestions.

Irish Spring Fling @ St.Francis Parish Social Center, Athol Springs featuring the Irish band “The Leftovers”, tomorrow 7-11pm

Earth Day: Medaille College has asked for Buffalo.com interns to attend a visit from SUNY ESF President Neil Murphy as part of their annual Earth Day activities. Friday, 3:30 pm, Medaille College's Buffalo Campus (Rt. 198 and Parkside), Main Building Lecture Hall.

I’m still looking for more volunteers for Kids Day – we’ll be selling papers at Southwestern and Lake View Roads in Hamburg. Remember all the proceeds go to kids at Women & Children’s Hospital!
