For those 90’s music lovers, this evening with lead singer of 90’s superstar group LIVE will be one of the highlights of the summer concert season. Led by Kowalczyk, alternative rock/post-grunge band LIVE rose from the modern rock charts to the mainstream spotlight on the back of their 1994 breakthrough album Throwing Copper. “Lightning Crashes,” “I Alone” and “All Over You” catapulted the band and their front-man to 90’s rock icon status and to date the band has sold nearly 20 million records across the globe. Kowalcyzk’s debut solo album, Alive, was released in April and he is now touring internationally to support the compilation.

Chippendales - Seneca Niagara Events Center- 6:30 p.m./8:00 p.m.
Get ready for the ultimate girls’ night out as the Chippendales visit Seneca Niagara Casino. The provocative music and dance revue began in 1979 as a hit nightclub act for female audiences. It has since grown into a spectacular adult entertainment touring show, playing to sold-out crowds around the world – and heightening bachelorette parties and girls’ night outs to a whole new level of excitement.

On Sunday, July 4th, celebrate our independence with an expanded fireworks display and great local musical acts at Buffalo's Fourth of July Celebration at the Erie Canal Harbor - Central Wharf. The event will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will include children’s activities and continuous entertainment.
Musical performers will include:

Tuesday

America -Tuesday in the Park – Artpark – 6:15 p.m.
The concert kicks off with the Niagara Falls Air Base special opening ceremony that will include a flyover of the Base's C130 aircraft at 6:15PM.
Families are encouraged to arrive at Artpark's outdoor amphitheater early for the opening event ceremony at 6:15PM which will include the Air Base Honor Guard, singing of the National Anthem, salute to the Base Guard and Reserve, and a special flyover of the Base C130 aircraft in a special kick off to the Fourth of July holiday weekend. The US Air Force Reserve Recruiting will be at the concert with a special display for the public.

Forever the Sickest Kids – Xtreme Wheels – 7:00 p.m.
Forever the Sickest Kids is an American rock band from North Richland Hills, Texas. In Alternative Press, the group was named the number one underground band in the "22 Best Underground Bands (That Likely Won't Stay Underground for Long)". Their debut album, Underdog Alma Mater, was released on April 29, 2008. The first part of their new three-part mini-LP (a collection entitled 3P), The Weekend: Friday, was released on November 17th, 2009, with the other two parts set for a spring/summer 2010 release called Saturday and Sunday.

Food Bank First Fridays Concert Series- Pearl Street Grill & Brewery- 9:00 p.m.
This summer, as Buffalo music fans feed their appetites for local, original music, they can also help feed those in need in our community and earn a night on the town for their support! Pearl Street Grill & Brewery is now hosting the Food Bank First Fridays concert series, featuring an eclectic mix of local artists who will encourage their fans to bring non-perishable food items for donation to the Food Bank of Western New York. For each item donated, a raffle ticket will be given for a chance to win a “Downtown date night,” including dinner at Pearl Street, tickets to a Buffalo Bisons game and an overnight stay at the newly renovated Comfort Suites Downtown. Leon & the Forklifts & Kickstart Rumble will perform this Friday night.

Gord Downie & The Country of Miracles – Hard Rock at the Falls Free Outdoor Concert Series- Niagara Falls, USA- 6:00 p.m.
Gordon Downie is the lead singer and lyricist for the Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip. He has released three solo albums, Coke Machine Glow in 2001, Battle of the Nudes in 2003; and The Grand Bounce in 2010. Canadian indie band The Dinner Is Ruined plus Julie Doiron and Josh Finlayson, called The Country of Miracles, served as his backing band for all three solo albums.
