  • Steelhead Challenge: Fishing tournament to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, King of the Cast Tournament reception taking place at Barton Hill and Spa, 100 Water St., Lewiston, 6 p.m.

Thursday:

  • 8th District Federated Garden Clubs Annual Installation and Luncheon: The 8th Districted Federated Garden Clubs of New York State to hold Installation of officers for 2009-2011. Day long events include annual meeting, luncheon, and Flower Design program 9am- 3pm, Brookfield Country Club

  • Smelt Festival: The Niagara River Anglers and the Lower Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce will batter and fry hundreds of pounds of smelt at the Lewiston Waterfront, live music too, 6pm
