Events 10/5/09

I received a pair of comp tix to Tony Blair at UB Wednesday – if you want them, first come, first served.

A few reminders:

If you need another stack of cards to hand-out at events (this goes for writers and photographers) – let me know. I can either mail them out or you can pick them up at The News.

Are you linking your photo galleries, articles, and blogs on MyBuffalo.com to your social network pages (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc.)? Are you making sure the organizers of the events also see your work? If no, why not? Brag about your great work!

This didn’t work that much last week…hopefully you’re reading this and taking action this time!

Are you active on MyBuffalo.com? Are you posting comments to other people’s photos, blogs (I’ve seen a few comments on my “Baby Chronicles” blog – thank you!), articles? Are you active on our message boards? If not, it’s time to step up. You are the “super-users” who give us great content, now’s the time to stay active - PARTICIPATE on the site!

When you are requesting events – I need three things from you: name of event, day/time, location.
