Rotary Rink at Fountain Plaza is now open and celebrating its 12th Anniversary season as Downtown Buffalo’s only free-to-the-public outdoor skating rink! Rotary Rink is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday the Rink is open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday it is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

4th Annual Buffalo Ball: Transplant Miracles Foundation & the Olmsted Parks will be the primary beneficiaries of this year’s proceeds. The 4th Annual Buffalo Ball will be held at the beautiful, historic Asbury Hall (Ani DiFranco’s Babeville) on Saturday, December 26, 2009 from 7 P.M. to 11 P.M. A record 700 people attended last year’s ball which raised over $15,000 for local charities.

The 21st Annual First Night Buffalo will take place in the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center on New Year’s Eve -Thursday, December 31, 2009. The event is a drug and alcohol free New Year’s Eve celebration and will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m



The Dustmen -- New Year's Eve in Dublin at the Shannon Pub, 6pm-10pm



Rock in the New Year at Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, USA! Falls Street will become the Times Square of West New York, as Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls hosts the city’s first-ever New Year’s Eve Guitar Drop®! Ring in 2010 on Falls Street - Adjacent to the Cafe - FREE STREET FESTIVAL from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
