The Queen of Heaven Carnival is this weekend, and unfortunately our photographer scheduled to attend will not be able to make it.
I just spoke to one of the organizers, and did you know that this event is the 2nd largest in WNY - second only to the Erie County Fair? They say the Taste of Buffalo won't be a major competitor because they encourage people to go to the Taste first then to the Carnival. The hours are: Friday: 5pm-1am, Saturday: Noon-1:00am, Sunday: Noon-10pm.
Know what that means for MyBuffalo? Plenty of opportunities to get people over to WNY's Social Network!
If you can stop into the Carnival for about an hour or so to take photos for MyBuffalo, let me know. I don't need to talk to the organizers, but would like a heads up for FYI purposes.
If you do go, when you arrive make sure to ask for a committee member (they'll be wearing t-shirts and will have radios).
