Photo tip o' the morning

Buffalo.com photo by Elizabeth Wagner.

A sound piece of advice from Darleen:

"Memory cards get corrupted and damaged. Recently I went on a personal photo shoot and then went to upload to computer and card wouldn’t read. I did salvage it and the images but it was work.

So I just thought I’d make the suggestion that if anybody does a large photo shoot to not put all your images on one card. In other words if you have a 8G card don’t necessarily use it only because you may lose, break etfc the card and then all will be lost."

The same thing happened to me but it was a paid wedding job! Boy did I learn a lesson the hard way...after many hours of recovery I was able to get my images.
